The Coaching Update: A Fresh Start for the Men's First Team
The arrival of Roberto De Zerbi as the new Men's Head Coach marks a significant turning point for our team. With his appointment, we've also welcomed two new members to our coaching staff: Marcattilio Marcattilii and Marcello Quinto.
A Familiar Face and a New One
Marcattilio, or Marco as he's known, brings a wealth of experience to the role. His journey began alongside Roberto at Italian side Foggia in 2015, and he's been an integral part of his backroom staff ever since. This familiarity with De Zerbi's methods and philosophy is a huge advantage for the team.
Marcello, on the other hand, has been working closely with Roberto over the past three years at Brighton & Hove Albion and Marseille. His insights and understanding of De Zerbi's approach will be invaluable as we move forward.
Strengthening the Coaching Staff
Joining Marco and Marcello are a familiar trio: Bruno Saltor, Andreas Georgson, and Cameron Campbell. These three have been instrumental in the team's development, and their continued presence is a testament to their dedication and expertise. Fabian Otte, the Goalkeeping Coach, also joins the team, bringing his specialized knowledge to the group.
Behind the Scenes Support
Stuart Lewis and Dean Brill, though not officially part of the coaching staff, play a crucial role in the team's success. Their support and guidance are essential to the smooth operation of the team, ensuring that all aspects of the players' development are covered.
Looking Ahead
With this new structure in place, the Men's First Team is poised for a fresh start. The combination of experienced coaches and a clear vision for the future is a powerful recipe for success. As we move forward, the team will continue to evolve, and the impact of these changes will be felt across the entire organization.
In my opinion, this new coaching setup is a bold move that reflects the club's commitment to excellence. The addition of Marco and Marcello, in particular, adds a layer of depth and continuity that will be crucial in the coming seasons. As we embark on this new chapter, I'm excited to see the team's progress and the positive impact it will have on our overall performance.
