The 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche: A Tribute to a Design Legend
In honor of the visionary designer Ferdinand Alexander Porsche (F. A.), Porsche introduces a special commemorative model: the 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche. This limited-edition car pays homage to the designer's legacy, blending his personal preferences with elegant Heritage Design elements. Mark Porsche, F. A.'s son, has purchased one of the 90 units, and buyers can further customize their anniversary car.
The exterior and interior of the 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche draw inspiration from a G-Series 911 driven by F. A. Porsche in the 1980s. The car features F. A. Greenmetallic paint, reminiscent of his 911's Oakgreenmetallic, and F. A. Grid-Weave fabric on the seat centers, echoing the pattern of his favorite jacket. The Sport Classic wheels, painted in satin-gloss black, are inspired by classic Fuchs rims.
Inside, the car boasts a Sport Chrono watch based on the original Chronograph 1, a plaque engraved with F. A. Porsche's signature, and an open-pore walnut plywood gear knob. The dashboard features a decorative trim with a plaque bearing the limited-edition number and F. A. Porsche's signature. An exclusive edition of the legendary Chronograph 1 and a special weekender bag are included.
The 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche will be available for customers in Europe to order from April 2026. Production will commence in the second half of 2026, allowing buyers to customize their cars. The car is based on the 911 GT3 with a Touring package, featuring an extendable rear spoiler and a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine.
F. A. Greenmetallic: A Tribute to Oakgreenmetallic
The F. A. Greenmetallic paint finish is inspired by the iconic Oakgreenmetallic of F. A. Porsche's 911. The Paint to Sample Plus experts, in collaboration with the Porsche family, created this shade. An exclusive label will be affixed to the A-pillar of all cars featuring Paint to Sample and Paint to Sample Plus.
The Porsche Junior sports sled, another iconic design by F. A. Porsche, is also making a comeback. Made of carbon fiber and Kevlar, it's lightweight and stable, limited to 90 units, and comes in F. A. Greenmetallic.
